Holistic Massage (or Swedish Massage) is the most famous holistic therapy. It is on offer in all Spas, massage centres and beauty clinics. It is a relaxing, gentle massage, never strong in its nature, created by Pehr Henrik in 19th century. Swedish Massage is considered the basic technique for every kind of massage. This comprehensive course offers a great grounding for your career as a massage therapist.

Set over 4 weekends, with self-directed learning in between, this course caters for those who are looking for a career as a massage therapist.
By the end of this course students will be able to perform a complete, professional, one hour to ninety minutes holistic massage on the front and back of the body, feet to face. They will know how perform holistic massage using correct postural alignment to ensure practitioner self-care.
This course is certified by the Complementary Medical Association which is based in the UK. The CMA is recognised in both Ireland and the UK. CMA registered courses are valid for cover from Balens Insurance.

You will also be required to submit 3 case studies for examination by the 10th of June. Case studies consist of treating three clients for three times each and presenting your findings. Guidelines will be given on the first weekend of the course.
