Each level ends with a written and practical exam.
You will also have to submit case studies for examination. Case Studies consist of treating three clients for three times each and presenting your findings. Guidelines will be given on the first weekend of the course.

Thai Massage Course
Thai massage, or Nuad Phaen Boran, is an ancient technique based on a combination of acupressure and yoga-like stretching. It has been influenced by Indian, Chinese, and indigenous Thai traditions. This art form has been handed down through the generations, mostly via oral tradition, and is practised today across Thailand in various forms.
This course is based on the Northern Style School, also known as Thai yoga massage.

Set over 2 levels of 4 weekends each, with self-directed learning in between, this course caters for those who are looking for a career as a massage therapist.
Students will be able to perform a complete, one hour to ninety minute massage on the front and back of the body, feet to face. They will know how to use their own body weight in optimal balance with the receiver. The course also covers the foundations of seated Thai Massage.
Students will be able to perform a complete, intermediate level, 90 minute to three hour Traditional Thai massage on the front, the back and the side of the body, feet to face. They will also be able to perform a seated Thai massage. They will comprehend how to use their body weight in optimal balance with the receiver at an intermediate level.
This course is certified by the Complementary Medical Association which is based in the UK. The CMA is recognised in both Ireland and the UK. CMA registered courses are valid for cover from Balens Insurance.
